With bright aromas of blackberry, black currant, and a touch of sage on the nose, this wine has a nice richness on the palate. Youthful flavors of fresh ripe blackberries, blueberries, and black currant with a touch of herb are balanced with medium tannins and a nice touch of acidity in this Merlot composed of 82% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Syrah, and 5% Malbec.

"Washington is known for having World Class Merlot and this bottling is no exception. With all the fruit from this great blend harvested from late September to mid-October with the brix levels ranging from 24.1 to 26.6, 2014 was a great vintage." - Greg Powers
